a filter is a filter, as long as it actually filters the air going into the engine. as for which one "let is more air" they both have a 4 inch intake. so therefore they are restricted to the amount of air you can draw through the 4 inch intake.
and i can tell you for a fact you can draw a lot more air through the element of a 6637 than you can draw through the 4 inch pipe going into the engine.
as for the others, i can not say on them because i never saw one.

I don't notice any noise difference at all over the stock filter. About performance on a stuck truck, it seems like I get a little bit better mileage but I changed a few other things about the same time so can't say for sure.
I like the way it's simple and the stock system had a recall due to possible housing leaks, my truck still had the original housing so I was happy to get rid of it.

Or you can go el-cheap-o and use 4" sewer pipe. It is cheap, easy to cut, and once it is painted black, you never know the difference. And for the small amount of pipe that is actually there........ it doesn't matter, just remember to glue to the joints.
when you raise the hood on mine you notice 2 things, the awesome 6637 sitting there, and the red fuel pressure regulator. but to each his own
