Body Swap on my F-150
I have an old F-150 (1992) that the body is shot on. It is rusted out from good old Missouri salted winter roads. I have recently acquired a 1976 Ford Courier (yes, a re-badged Mazda) and I want to change out the bodies. I know I have to shorten the wheelbase by 34.5" and modify the floorpan of the Courier to make it all fit. That is not the issue I am writing about.
I want to keep the old cabled speedo and gauges from the Courier in it but cannot find any information on changing out a PSOM speedo setup to a geared speedo setup. I am also looking at the rest of the gauges and the types of temp, oil pressure, and charging setups the two vehicles have stock. Are they "idiot lights" or actual gauges.
As always, any other considerations you might have will be well received. I am trying to get as much information together before I start cutting sheet metal and fabricating things.
I just want to make a " " out of that little wannabe. lol

91 and earlier Fseries had a cable speedo as well as a speed sensor on the trans. you 92 might have an adapter on there for a cable already.......... have you looked at it?
courier is a cool little truck to butcher onto an F150 frame but its your time/money.
post us a pic of the courier just for chits and giggles.
cheers to crazy projects
