oh, i did put a piece o plywood down for the bed of my truck, so i got something accomplished over the holidays. I'm not putting a picture of THAT hack job on my thread, though.

Steve, sorry to see that you have been under the weather and I hope that you get back to normal quickly.

 

I haven't gotten much done on my truck this winter yet. I need to get on the ball - got a fairly long list. Some of it needs sent out for fab since I want someone with much more welding/fabrication experience to do them. Some sheetmetal covers and such. I spent my whole New Year's weekend catching up around the house. I saw exactly 2 plays of the Orange Bowl that Oklahoma squandered away....ugh.

Battery dead in the truck and AutoCAD crashed again so I had to reinstall it and lost all of my work from this morning.

 

Hi Neil! I need to get a couple of odds and ends ordered for the 67. and, get the damn front axle back together.

 

Neil - yeah, it was off and running fast today. At least there were no vehicular issues for me.

Pat - I need to sit down tonight and put in a Summit order for a new throttle body for the Bull, along with a couple other things. Not to mention finding someone to polish this intake runner for me.

My daughter totaled the 99 Maxima that she was driving, so now my truck is my daily driver until I can find either me or her another car (since she's absconded with my G35X). Good thing it's running.

She wasn't hurt, so that's the main thing. Still, though, nice Happy New Year present to me. That car was great. I've had it for years, and it just kept going. I just put four brand new tires on it and had a floor welded in.

 

Damn. I'm glad to hear she's okay, Steve. Was it her fault?
