Good point George, damn salt, the salt even kills the trees next to the roads up here, I hate winter

get out there & make snow angles Perry ..... not sure about volcano lava

Evening fellas, could just be like the north, just let the road freeze and cover it in gravel, vehicles didn't rust up there (Yellowknife) but there was a lot of broken windshields.

Got used to an inch or 2 of hard pack on the road when I was a kid, you didn't go anywhere unless you had studded tires on all 4 corners

Good morning Ontario. I remember that years ago, LI, NY would use sand on the roads. Idiot people wanted to still drive fast during the Winter, so they started using salt...

Put some snow hookers on the shoulders of the road and that will slow them down

I wonder how hi way curling would catch on, imagine it would be button shots or a burned stone

Broom is about 5 years old, Ger. I wonder how a leaf blower would work on light snow.....
