Who said the shop wasn't going to be open tomorrow???? I may not get there until after lunch, but I'll be there. I need to work on Rip and see how far I can get with it.

 

jeff I think I can make it "back" to Sparta again tomorrow after I off load the truck.. I think it will be t-shirt and shorts weather..


stopped up there today but the shop empty..so I went to town and visited with tff and the kids while waiting for alan to show up...

Evening all. Not a whole lot going on over here tonight. Took the family out for pizza and that's about it.

I now have a friend's 2001 Monte Carlo parked at my place while he figures out what to do with it. His daughter never checked anything on it so she never noticed the transmission leak until it ground to a halt. It's going to need a new transaxle and related components, but he's not fixing it. He's either going to sell as is or scrap. Hopefully it will only be here a couple of weeks.

 

I've done nothing and like it

Turner Classic Movies had a Marx Brothers marathon from 7 this morning until 7 this evening.

Then the Thin Man series marathon started.

I picked up Penny yesterday evening from the airport and we enjoyed some being back together time, safe and sound at the house.

Nobody get in to a rush to get to the shop. I said I wasn't going to get there until noon. I haven't had my coffee yet and Tiff is making Malt-o-meal. I still have to bring the yard decorations in, as well. It's the new year and the Christmas stuff is getting put away today. I'm done with decorating until October now.
