I put that kit in mine but I have a 15 f350 so my back sits higher plus ready lift also makes a taller block for the rear and I had that put in as well so my back still sits higher than the front. So to answer your question you have two options, take out the front lift or add a taller block in the rear. I also added that bracket (arrow) made by readylift to increase caster so I dont end up with death wobble.
Either put the factory rear 4 inch block under it or get a ready lift 5 inch block for rear. I have the 5 inch one sits slightly higher in rear with the 2.5 front lift
Yea the dealer installed it and did not void any part of the warranty
Thanks... truck came in this evening so I stopped by and had a look at it. Talked with service folks and they didn't seem to have any problem with the lift kit if done through them.
And just a side note.......if you drive at night at all, you will be getting high beam flashes a LOT! I get them a bunch with everything stock when loaded!
Regards, and enjoy the great looking truck!
PS. You bought a real truck....at least 6 wheels under it!
On our recent 3000 mile trip with the 5er, I got flashed by nearly every oncoming vehicle on a two-lane highway, and one of them was a state trooper. By the way he slowed down, I am pretty confident he would have quickly turned around had I not flashed him back to let him know I was on low beam.
Concerning enough to me that I'm looking in to air bags.
