how to tell a good starter from a bad starter

the purpose of this thread is not to compare videos of everyones starters, but rather to show the difference between a bad starter and a good one. for that reason alone, the other posts were removed.

as requested, here is an easy way to tell if your starter is good or bad. click on the link to play the videos.
bad starter at 70 degrees:
