Replacing heater blower motor - 1985

Just replaced the blower motor in my 1985 and found that the aftermarket motor connector is to small. This blower came from the Zone and you have to cut the pigtail off the old motor. Tired both part numbers they had it stock for my truck and same issue with the plug. No big deal but don't throw your old motor away until you get it all working.

Instead of cut n splice the wires do you think you could get the connectors out of each plug body and then push the new motor connectors into the old plug body?

Most of the time a paper clip will unlock the connectors from the body.

Well the new one is potted and the plugs do not come out. They are also way to short.
