User Names ? Why ?

Recent posts have questioned members User Names, inquiring how their user name came to be.
Aside the obvious, how did the FTE Members choose their names??
Was it named for Your Vehicle, A Parent? Your Spouse? , Your Child? , A Pup? , a long lost love ?
What prompted Your user name?
Let's start the New Year with a 'lil transparency..... Fess Up !
Mine is simple, I dislike anything Bow Tie, . But that's just Me.
I'm sure there are many out there with a deep rooted history !
We would like to hear that history !

I'm a lurker in this part of the forum, but my name is simple enough. When I joined I owned two 1977 F250 trucks. I also happen to think that's one of the finest Fords ever built.

I've posted this in the thread on the '87 - '96 forum, and in my "Toys" thread (in my sig). But "Nothing Special" describes what I want in a truck, with some intentional irony. Most of the vehicles I've owned, or hope to own, won't turn most people's heads. And even my Bronco and the '29 Model A I owned (the only real head-turners) were pretty common vehicles in their day. But I own them after most people have moved on to something newer and I make them mine. So it ends up taking quite a bit of work to make them a one-of-a-kind vehicle that's still really nothing special.

Mine is pretty self descriptive. The truck is still in my sig all these years later(been here since 1998 or 99)but it is no longer a F100 SWB...

My memory is poor, so I figured I'd better pick something I might remember.

Seriously though, I'm on several forums, from boating to lathes to trucks. And if I had a different "handle" on each one I'd quickly forget.

A combination of the year of my favorite pickup and my cb handle, which I got when I hit a bat in Nebraska then had to replace the windshield on my Freightliner because of said bat.

Many years ago when I first met my wife 1 of her nephews who was about 4 years old had a VCR tape (remember them?) of hockey he would always watch and it had someone on it with a beard he would call fuzz face. When watching it if I was with him and having a beard he would say fuzz face when the guy came on then point to me and say the same thing.

When I first started surfing the internet forums, late 80’Sand needed a name I started using FuzzFace2 as FuzzFace1 was already taken.

BTW I have had a beard since high school, class of “78”. Other than pictures I don’t think my 26 year old son and I know my wife of 18 years have never seen me without a beard.

I have a collection of vintage washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc. And until recently, had a small used appliance shop.
A Maytag906 is an all push button washer/dryer made from 1966, until the early 70's. People who collect appliances think of it as one of the so called "holy grail" of laundry equipment.
