Exactly why I got rid of my F-150 and got a Toyota Tundra. Best "new" truck I ever owned. You gotta do what's right for you. No guilt.
Now if you said you were going to buy a 1950's chevy truck well..........
I've owned more GM products then any other brands put together over the years. But if I'm looking at older vehicles I like the Fords the best... I've owned a few K5 Blazers and loved them... but have sold the last one a few years ago. My Daily Driver is a '07 Chevy Avalanche, I also own a '07 Chevy Malibu (my daughter drives), '95 Chevy Tahoe k1500, and a '62 HD XLCH Ironhead... Someday I would like to have a ****** MB or Ford GPW flat fender Jeep, '64-66 Mustang and another 61-63 Thunderbird (also like 64-67)... I drive what I like and don't care what anyone else says...
But anyways, my Cobra is sold and gone. I'm considering putting my GMC up for grabs. I love my 49 f1 but I can't see far enough into the future to do a build on the 53 GMC.
I think you should say 3 hail Fords and 3 Henry forgive me's. Then you should be OK. I like GM cars and Ford trucks. Had a 81? 4x4 that left me stranded many times. Stupid module in the dizzy. I guess what ever suits your needs. Maybe you can trade it in for a Ranger when they become available.
