FORD log /wood splitter

Anyone ever owned one? I don't know how rare they are, but this is the only one I've ever seen myself.

Looks like google is indeed your friend

FORD 960 wood splitter

Ford made wood splitter - Yesterday's Tractors

The first site has a link to parts -- maybe it's still good.

I figured this site is dedicated to Ford enthusiasts, and It's a Ford log splitter. Thought I'd share my recent find with the board that's all.

Wow, this ole timer just learned something. If not in running condition, seem to recall Briggs and Stratton may have provided the engine; if so, I would take the info; model and serial # off the engine plate and see if engine replacement parts are available. These Ford antique pieces of machinery were built back in my heyday, it's great when one finds them and a plus to see them running.

I have a Ford log splitter. I've used it for many years. Are there any more available to purchase?
