goes into limp mode

I have an 08 f350 with a 6.4 runs great for about 10 mins then goes into limp mode code P0087 comes up turn engine off for about 2mins then runs great again for about ten minutes any help?

fuel rail pressure too low.
air in the system...primary filter could be non OEM or OEM and installed wrong
clogged primary filter
defective primary lift pump
clogged secondary filter
water in either filter that gelled, froze, and is clogging the system
defective high presure fuel pump
also be advised, ford put fuel tanks in their f and e series vehicles up until 2009 that eventually have linings that break down and fill the fuel system with flakes and rust.

you should stop driving this vehicle until this is professionally looked at and resolved.

this could wind wup being a costly repair.

Any time you drive a common rail diesel with low fuel pressure you are seriously risking your hpfp.

When was the last time your fuel filters were changed?
