Identifying a 42-47 fender?? With part # and pics.

I have some 42-47 parts that I'm going through. One is what appears to be a NOS rear fender with part # 21T-16312-a .

Does anyone here have access to part#s back into the '40s?

I looks similar to the 42-47 pickup truck rear fender, but attaches to the body differently.I believe it's for a panel truck. Can anyone confirm based on the #s or pics?

Thanks.

Yes, panel.... What is the overall length? There are a couple different panel truck sizes.

This is for a bigger truck, not half ton. Off top of my head, this would be for 1 ton and bigger panel trucks. The 1/2 ton fender would be 21C-16312.

Looks just like the one in my garage, off my 40 tonner panel. Only in a lot better condition. I'm not sure what the difference is in 40-41 and 42-47, maybe a little different where the running board connects. If it is for sale, pm me, I'm interested.
Here's one from 1/2 ton, you can see the difference in size

But surely it wouldn't fit against Willowbilly's running board. Completely different... Just look at the deplorable condition of this right rear.....

I can see mine has 4 holes and that one appears to have 3. According to the same link above, the 38-41 are the same and the 42-47. It would be interesting to see them side by side and know what the differences are.
Maybe you need this one for your tonner Gary.

I am still holding out for a measurement on this fender. I am also wondering how this would look wrapped around a "34 to "35 tire. The part number says one ton. But was that put on at the factory?

Thanks for all the replies.I just got out there today and took some measurements.

Overall length is about 65"
Wheel opening length about 35"
Wheel opening height about 19"

Hope this helps.

OK, thank you. So the fender has the correct part number on it, and the fender is for the long wheelbase panel delivery trucks with single rear wheels.

So the 1/2 ton panels are all short wb, and the long wb panels are all 3/4ton and bigger?
Sorry if that's a dumb question..but I never had a 42-47 and I might as well learn what I can from the guys that know! Thanks for all the help.

That is correct, although there is no 3/4 ton in the 42-47 range. The one ton has 122" wb and the ton and a half has a 134" wb with single or duel tires.
