morning, I have a emergency that I have to tow a 2007 expedition from Tallahassee FL to Maryland and I don't want to pay a auto carrier $700 before Christmas , I have heard that you can tow it backwards on a Tow dolly from U-Haul is that true and safe. Thanks John

 

If the truck is 2wd you can use a car dolly assuming you can find one with enough capacity to handle the weight and also the width. 700 bucks is cheap for Tally to MD. It will cost you more towing it to be 100% truthful. For 700 bucks you can pay someone competent to move it up there and have it insured for the trip.

 

Ok ibhave found a Uhaul dolly for rent$60 one way whould i have to put it on the dolly backwards

 

Those are 6000 lb trucks. Makes sure it's secure and you have the right vehicle to tow it with.
