Well the Truck has been great to me all year long since I bought her but I was up in the High Country checking out the Snow Country with my Brother and his Dog and we stopped and locked her up into 4wd high and 10 miles up the road the Transfer Case took a dump.

I got the Front Hubs unlocked and disengaged the 4wd off the Dash and was able to drive her home as normal. We were having such fun too dang it.

Ford tough and still rolling.

I have a good mechanic friend looking for a low mileage Transfer Case for me and I'm pulling the Front Drive Shaft in the morning just in case. All in all I still love my Ford.

That is the coolest truck! There was a guy around me that had one can't remember the name but it wasn't Centurion that built it. His cab was a genuine Ford four door cab not hacked from anything else. He did the full AutoFab long travel suspension on it, very unique and very cool. These could be ordered through the dealer, fairly rare but really cool, good find. Let the web experts hate all they want, you have a great truck there.

Thank you and yes she is a lovely beast. We did a quick DX today at a local shop(free of charge) and narrowed it down to the gears in the Front Differential plausibly locking up. What is nice is the Manual Hubs and the 4wd Switch on the Dash so everything is Unlocked from 4wd and this beasty is going into my friend's shop next Tuesday for repair of this issue and a long list of little fix it things.

All I know is I love my Beast and she is worth rebuilding. Later down the line the stock bed is coming off and a Medium Duty Flat Bed w/Side Tool Boxes is going to be installed at which time also the 38gln Gas Tank Conversion that Bob(RIP) gave us his information on here will be installed too.

Not Truck related but next year depending on the economy and how interest rates look we might go in and trade in the Wife's 2005 Ford Focus on a newer model at Carmax.

4ever!!!!!

Probably open front diff as well as when I ordered the limited slip front & rear option in my f150 you could not get it with SOTF.

Never said it was. The guy I spoke to ordered his through the dealership, that are privately owned businesses not owned/run by Ford, and it was not mfg by Centurion, I don't recall the company he said it was, something coach. His cab was not hacked from a super cab or welded up from anything else it was a genuine Ford four door cab as well as the bed only mods were to the 1/2 ton frame. He said it was $36-$38k new.

Impossible. The cab had to have been illegally swapped if it has not been cut /welded. The only way F150s were built from ford was a regular cab and supercab. Any of the conversion companies HAD to cut and section in more cab and frame to make a 4 door in order to retain the vin number.

Don't get me wrong, the 1st thing I would do if i ever bought one of those hacked up conversion trucks, would be to put a factory made F250/F250 crewcab on in place of the butchered up cab

I spent about five hours at dudes house (kids B-day Party) truck was in a million pieces and headliner was down, no welds or anything. I don't believe a vin is issued to a cab it is entirely possible and practical for a custom vehicle manufacturer to issue the VIN #. He said the cab & bed were genuine Ford parts and I see no reason to doubt him. It is registered as a 1/2 ton and has a 16 digit VIN and nothing jumped out as unusual in the VIN# but it did have an aluminum plate with the VIN, serial #, and GVWR #'s. I believe it was California coach or something like that, had a horse and carriage as the logo. I will drive over there one of these days and see if he still lives there, hopefully get a pic or two.

The Vin IS issued to the cab. That is why it is illegal to just switch cabs without getting a reconstructed title

Wow it has been 1 year since I bought and brought my Old Girl home and began our journey together.

She is still running great and doing fine. Have had one minor set back with the Front Gear Set taking a dump but I was able to unlock her Hubs and disengage her 4wd from the Dash and drover her home with no issues and we are looking for a used low mileage gear set now. 308's. ** Corrected

I purchased another hood(used) for the Truck and it all looks good but it has these tiny Tabs on the front of it like for Trim. Guess I will just grind them off as my original Hood does not have these tabs across the front. The Hood Hinges I got are not quite the same either. Seems either in my 1995 Model things were beefed up more or these Hood Hinges are from an older model.

Well just an update since I have not posted in what forever. 4eva

3.07s? WHY in the world would you want 3.07s in a heavy crewcab truck with 210 hp for towing?

Because that is what came stock from the factory for this rig.
