'48 Model
Here's a couple of pictures of my '48, with a base coat, two different colors plus the clear. It has shaved door handles, shaved hood, single side windows, dropped front end and rear end, shaved gas tank filler plus the custom paint job. The color is a magenta or burnt orange. It looks red but is really fairly dark and the real one will be darker yet. It was a frame off restoration with a little custom thrown in.

I have 3 "48" models. One 1/24th and 2 1/25th. I have seen many other ones at various car shows and rallys. The 2 smaller models I will leave alone. The larger one I am in the process of painting to match my truck.
I am also in the process of rebuilding my golf cart to match the truck. Basically just changing the front cowl and repainting it in the same colors.

I do have several scale models of 53-56 trucks. Below is one that looks like mine but is a 53 model year. Perhaps I will paint the bumpers black and paint the grille Sungate Ivory.
They don't make many 54 models but I have two. This gas station service truck complete with a snow plow and chains and a Pennsylvania RR truck. Both these '54's are a much smaller scale.
