OT how many have a model of your truck?

I just finished repainting a model of my truck and was wondering how many others have done this?
It took me two attempts (the first time I tried to reassemble two days too soon), but I am happy with the finished project. While it isn't an exact match it is close enough for me.

That looks great! Where did you find it? It looks like my 51, except pristine, rust-free, and tiny.

That is very nice, I've wanted to do that but have never seen a 56 panel. I know they did make a 56 pickup but never found one in a store, very few store in my area even sell the plastic models anymore.

My sons gave me one for Christmas one year, and I bought the other, the green one with faux "dirt". They are pretty impressively accurate, in all respects. I've thought about re-painting the white one to be my truck's colors.

Did you paint the green one Ross, that is really cool, looks like it just came off a country dirt road.

No, it came "pre-dirted", it's lightly fogged with brown paint, actually done pretty well. It would look even better without the WWW's, I've thought about flipping them.

Mike85120, did you disassemble yours to paint it? It looks great!

Thank you for the compliments guys!
Ross...yes I did disassemble it, it is w Welte model and it actually was very easy to take it apart. I used an airbrush and some left over paint from my real truck.
Quesera ....I bought it a couple of years ago at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale.

Gifted model

My cousin gave me one years ago when I was in the middle of my build; may get around to painting it my truck colours some day....in my "old age".

Dad and I built a 55 F100 model together when I was a kid. Since then I wanted the truck....

That is where the fire started for me.

Mine is a '56, not a '55 and won't be the same color but it got me into this addiction.
