t-case swap speedo reads way to high now

t-case swap speedo reads way to high now

Had friend replace the t-case the other day now when driven road speed 20mph speedo reads 60+ mph

I was told by the guy that the dealer can reprogram it

Not sure if where the replacement t-case came off of...it was used

V-8 Vehicle Speed Sensors, 4L60-E Reluctor Ring, V8 Conversions, Stealth Conversions




This is from a "shudder" GM but same same.

A different tooth count will result in a different speedo reading.

if you are referring to the 97 F150 listed in your signature, the t-case has nothing to do with the speedometer.
after 92 the speedometer is read off the Vehicle Speed Sensor in the rear differential.

You are right. I did not read the signature and no real indication of year.
