Oil leak when cold. What is this?

I'm having an oil leak when I first crack my truck up in the morning. After its warm it stops. I have a 95 2wd f250 7.3 powerstroke. Any clue as to what this part is.

You can see where the oil is coming from in the pic. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are in a pinch and can't get them replaced right away, plug your truck in over night. The warm coolant often will soften the O-rings and allow them to seal.
This pops up every Fall/Winter as the O-rings get old, hard, and brittle.

Oil leak
Here is a link to the parts.... Oil Cooler Seal Kit - Ford 7.3L Powerstroke

replace your gaskets while you are at it. When the rings are crispy, usually your gaskets follow shortly. Much easier to put together out of the truck and not pinch a ring.

When the Mule was a fleet truck it used every kind of filter with no problem, but the oil got changed every 4k. But do listen to this guys all the filters mentioned for better filtering, I followed these guys advice and ever since nothing but fl-1995 on my Mule and my Excursion fl-820s

I still would not put a FRAM on there! I have seen a half dozen FRAMs implode the wire mesh, One on a 7.3, one on a 24V, and the rest were on German cartridge filters not meant to have FRAM chit in there... Get rid of it or start saving monthly for a new crank and block machine work...

Ya, I wouldn't put a fram on your lawnmower! All motorcraft for me. Race cars get motorcraft racing filters too. I've heard AND seen too many bad things with fram filters.
