Not the ad, look in the background. I messaged them, need to call I guess. It's 250 miles away.

That's what it looks like to me. From the looks of the place there might be more. It would be a 500 mile round trip, not sure if it would be worth it.

There's a salvage yard just minutes away outside of Mandan. Has a 40-41 tonner, cut off 40-41 tonner panel, complete 1.5 ton 40-41, and at least one complete front clip. Ever make your way up here Willowbilly, would be glad to take you there. You are welcome as well GB. Be a bit of a drive for you.

Henry, just found out I'm making a trip up that way for a dealer trade on Fri-sat, I can't do the swap until Sat. morning so I have some time to kill. Do you have a name/number for that yard? thanks

Flying this time of year is pretty risky in these parts. Be prepared to spend a night or three in some random airport like Denver or Minneapolis.
Thanks to you guys, and mostly you Gary, I am now on a quest for more tonners, specifically 40-41 though. But if I could find a decent 1 1/2 ton, I might build it into a HD dually pickup. Been wanting to do one of those anyway. Roll a nice set of 10 foot bedsides, whittle up jailbar truck front fenders for the rears, some nice long running boards.......

I really wanted to do that with my 37. I even called a guy in Seattle who I know has a set of beat tonner PU rears, but he wants to save them for 'spares'. Who does that????? My wife's sister lives next door to this fire truck that was mixed up in a divorce. It was gonna be an espresso shop parade vehicle for a business. Now it sits dead in the woman's driveway and the ex husband has the chrome. I have always wanted to haul it away for her, scrap it and keep those beautiful rear fenders for a 1 1/2 ton pickup. Holy cow they are just what we need!

ps the fire truck guys would have me horsewhipped!

Those fenders are just the deal!! It looks like you could make a set from the fronts, what kind of truck is it?

Looked everywhere for a name tag, but it was probably chrome, an an emblem on the hood, which the husband has. (I don't blame him a bit) Maybe Diamond T ? I think the engine is a Herc. Looks like a heavy haul and it's on an island in Southern Puget Sound. 4 ferry trips again.... For some fenders. Yes the fronts are similar, so we BOTH have a set.
