craigslist deal of the day

i dont know how many of you are from around the Maryland area but for those of you that are... this could be a good deal if it is something simple and he is just done messing with the truck. it has what looks like NJ tags so i would assume if it is that most miles are highway.
2002 F250 7.3 Disel MECHANIC DEAL

i dont have the money to buy to sell, but it is 4x4 so if you get it running it could be a winter beater then sell it after the snow is over.

I quote "WICH IS NOTHING IF YOU NO ABOUT THESE MOTORS"...

So, he couldn't take the time to spell "which" or use know properly instead of "no". I just don't get it when I see ads like this. I take time to write the ad out, list things of interest and read it for grammar issues at least twice. Especially when I am talking about anything more than $100 or so.

Sad fact: If he is a product of the US educational system within the last 20 years, he may not k"no"w any better.

I think some of these kids have to go to college to learn how to spell, conjugate verbs, and proper grammar.

I ain't a model of perfection tho....

Spelling aside, his priorities are askew. He mentions the paint needs attention, but nary a word on all the body bashes. 360K miles and allegedly won't start because of a bad ground, but he continues on to say all electric windows. Does this mean the windows are stuck up - or down? Won't start in winter could really mean injector time.

I dunno - I don't see a lot to work with here for $3500. If the outside is that abused, he would have had pictures of the motor if there was anything under there that could be used as a selling point.

All things considered (mileage and not running) I'd offer $1000 for it if I wanted something to do. Being in Joisey I might even check it out if it's there for a while. All the wheels and hub caps look useable and the engine would make a good core, that's how I'd look at it. The fact that it looks like it's not sitting in the richest of neighborhoods leads me to believe that maintenance may have been neglected on it.

OOOps, it's in Baltimore, not Joisey.

Probably rusted to shreds. Fords don't survive that many winters up here without a lot of rust.

I wouldn't give him 35 bucks for it.

Even with not being able to spell, the seller seems to have a pretty good handle on diagnosing electrical issues.

Ford f350 2003 $2900obo

another self diagnosed truck, real dirty engine bay, dirty interior, unknown mileage.
more than likely not well maintained, looks like a unmolested stock truck that needs some(alot) of lovin'.
maybe someone looking for a project truck gets something out of my posts.
