I have a white 18 in rare 4 spoke steering wheel with the horn ring,the wheel has a couple of small cracks at the bottom & the horn ring has some light piting it has a 3/4 spline almost all ford trucks from the 50's to the late 70's used this spline if anyone is intrested in this wheel you can contact me at bob5740@verizon.net

Yes. Do you know if it can be used on a '62 steering column with a horn ring instead of the button?

 

The horn ring and horn button are interchangeable within the specific applications. They attach in the same manner and the horn ring just has the extra half-circle. You can't mix 17" and 18" parts. Not sure about using an older wheel on a newer truck, but from another thread of yours it sure looks similar.
