I'm not sure how you find out how many vehicles has been used to programed. But I'm heard of people selling programmers full and it cost as much as a new programmer to clear. Just beware and good luck.

You will need to have it unmarried from the current truck. They save the vin and you can only use it on the one vehicle, you can use it on more than one but only 4 or 5 times before it locks out. Then you would have to get the tunes for your model year (each PCM has a 4 digit code). Not sure how much the new tunes would cost you, maybe $100?

Youde be better off ordering directly from 5 star!
