LOL sadly nothing was accomplished with the truck other than getting it actually in the shop. First time she's been inside in forever! For those of you on FB I shared the video... It's pretty funny.

Been getting ready for Christmas... Im hosting about a dozen people. First Christmas at MY house so I kind of want everything to be as good as possible. Bill gave me some good guidance so I will hopefully get to it this Saturday or Sunday when everyone is gone.

Just messing, buddy!!!!

Having it inside makes a huge difference!! Especially with the crazy weather we have been having. Hopefully you can get to the bottom of it. You got my number, if you want me to run up and lay another set of eyes on it. Not like your too far away.

Thanks Bill!

So I tried what you suggested. I unplugged the square and round connector and turned to KOEO to see if it changed anything.
It didn't. The WTS light still won't illuminate and the OD light stays on.

I wasn't sure which was the trans connector so I unplugged one and tried it. Then i plugged it back in and unplugged the other and tried it.

I even tried it with both disconnected! ***All of this was with the #22 fuse burned out.

No dice.
Not sure where to try next. Perhaps I will do as Mike suggested and cut the fuel bowl heater wires altogether.

Hope everyone is enjoying the Holidays! I had my family here from tuesday until this afternoon. Im exhausted.

Did you try unplugging the engine harness next? If not, then try that. Unplug it over on the driver side inner fender also. It's got the 10mm bolt in the back you have to take out. Unplug it and turn the key on and see what you get then.

You wont get a WTS light if the #22 fuse is blown no matter what you do.

X2^^^^^^

Put a good fuse in, unplug the engine harness over on the fender well, then turn the key on and see if it blows the fuse. If not, then the problem is in the engine harness somewhere.

For testing purposes I use automatic reset breakers. Use a stud type with short leads and male spade connectors to slip into the slots where the fuse plugs in. Always use the same or lower amperage as the fuse of the circuit being tested.
