Truck will not starting

Need some help please…

My 60 was running great, turnover and start without any hesitation. Now it will not even turn over. Just a god offal sound coming from the solenoid. I have changed the starter solenoid and bench tested the starter. Still making the same sounds and not starting. What Should I be testing, changing or looking for. Stock 292 with a four speed.

Grounds! Battery to body, and engine to body. Thats my guess if you have changed the solenoid and the starter is good. Might then check all the wiring in the start curcuit.

Take a jumper cable and connect to negative side of battery then to engine block as close to starter as possible then try starter if it turns over like it should you need a better ground
