We're getting there.
The inspector (d@mned kid) said we should be good, just a few forms and things to get filled out and notarized as they come in. The new title will show it being a 1979 Ford F150 "Replica" since it's literally made up of several different vehicles.
But we'll get there.

Since it's going to be so nice out today, and I have the house to myself I'm going to get started on the wiring mess on Ka'Bluey. Starting under the hood, then to the rear bumper where there are almost a dozen different connectors and fixing it all.
Hope y'all have a great day.

Neck has been fed, and back out to do some more wiring. I did get that battery to two different shops, and got the same answer both times. The battery did test to be good. But with the date that is marked on the casing, it's 5 years old, so a new battery is in the near future.
I did find me a battery disconnect switch in my toolbox. So that's getting installed today as well.
Y'all have a good day

Apparently my supervisor and the fuel pits supervisor at the base didn't relay messages they were supposed to. Now I'm setting in the middle of a active fuel pit because of it. Both supervisors are freaking out about it and making a bunch of calls. While me and the SGT operating the actual pits have already got a plan on how to allow us both to complete what needs to be done today. Why do supervisors have to complicate ****?

I get Monday off, guess I'll spend it picking up and cleaning up around the house.
Stopped by the store on the way home to grab a loaf of bread, ended up costing me $20 because they had some really good looking ribeye steaks....

Bob,
Glad your getting things done with the truck. DMV seems pretty workable with the issue at least minus all the red tape. I can't imagine what they would do in CT. The same process of getting a "composite" vehicle registered is a PITA.
I know what you mean, I got my 83, and it isn't going anywhere. Don't plan on selling it even if it takes me 100 years to fix!
Crazy how it went through so many owners in such a short time. But, now it can enjoy some love.
Have a good weekend everyone!

Tim and I got out to LKQ this morning after we got our ears lowered. Found a factory steering wheel (center part for the horn is missing), and a good grill insert and pair of extra headlight bezels. Still looking for the box to the glove box, locking hood latch, and just extra doo dads.
