Well I knew my truck had a missfire.... Went to autozone to buy a spark plug and decided to get them to pull the codes while there. Turns out I had 4 miss fires, no wonder it was being moody. Got those changed went for a test ride and about got me in trouble with the wet roads! Felt good to be running on all 8 again!

However it's ridiculous to have to use this to change spark plugs.

That looks like a set up I've used a few times. I'm guessing you have a Triton V8

Yup my 97 is a 4.6... however those and the 5.4s are about identical. Only difference is mine doesn't have COP it has 2 coils and still has 8 wires.

Those spark plugs are a pain in the butt. The worst one I've done was an Econoline with 5.4 Triton, and it was a full conversion van, so the "Dog House" was carpeted and covered in fake wood trim.

That sucks! I've done them on this truck twice now, I did them about 3.5 years ago after I got it, I've also done them on my mother's old 2000 5.4 expedition.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas eve!

The wife gave me a new shirt for Christmas, and said she thought I was "perverted enough to wear it" damn right I am!

actually thats not whats ridiculous... whats ridiculous is when you have to use 2 universals to get to the spark plug in order to change it... or using the socket in conjunction with a wrench because the fricken ratchet wont fit...

Steering Wheel

Hope everybody had a nice Christmas

I'm looking for a steering wheel for Ka'Bluey. Through the different owners, somebody put an aftermarket steering wheel on, and it's way smaller than the stock size. Truck does not, have tilt or cruise control.

I had a pretty good Christmas, a few box's of ammo for the wife's .380, and some .40 and a box of 30-06. Also a couple pairs of jeans and 5 or 6 new t shirts since I was looking a bit homeless in my old stuff since I've lost 75 pounds now.

We're heading out to Wake Forest later this morning. I found a 78 F150 that parting out, and he has the steering wheel that I want for Ka'Bluey, so now I can get that, and see if there's anything else I could use.

Good deal bob!

Went hunting this morning, then went for a ride down to topsoil island for a dinner with the wife's family. Put a nice little 130 miles on the bike for the first time in a couple weeks!
