I am surprised no one brought up the fact that the problem is with a bracket that is supplied by a 3rd party contractor.

Lets look at this with a conspiracy theory point of view. Hmmm test test test… 4 million miles or something like that and all major problems are ironed out. Bracket supplied are good. Go to production… and Brackets supplied are bad ? I smell something fishy and I hope the brains at FORD HQ are as skeptical and paranoid as I am because in this day in age with how cut throat everything is you kinda have to be.

If you have not caught on yet, what I am getting at is that the 3rd party factory who is supplying this apparently very important part could theoretically be owned by anyone… who you say ? well lets say maybe its GM or worse the Germans.

if you want to accuse ford of a faulty bracket, post some evidence. and by the way, "bracket" is not a real technical term. What kind of bracket, what is its intended purpose, what are the ramifications if the "bracket" fails, what repairs or retrofits would be required if the imagined "bracket" fails, etc etc

 

conspirecy theory.....what next. This years trucks aren't the first vehicle to ever have a production problem. If cars had all their problems ironed out we'd never have car recalls. If there is truly a "bracket" problem than i'm guessing its not a conspiricy at all.
