Headlight suggestions?
Has anybody ran different style headlights in these trucks other than the stock design? I plan on keeping mine mostly stock but I want a bit of sick originality in it and I want some cool headlights. I've thought about getting these7" Halogen H4 Headlight Headlamp Amber LED Halo Angel Eyes Light Bulbs 12 Volt | eBay Or these 7" Round Glass Lens Build in LED Projector Diamond Cut Headlights Left Right | eBay Input is appreciated and I am aware I am mostly likely gonna need a harness. But I want to have that cool looking truck that people break their necks to look at in their mirror.

I put these on my 73.. http://static.speedwaymotors.com/RS/.../9106121_L.jpg
I'm using the amber part for DRLs.
IMO, the angel eyes and halos are too modern for bumps and dents.

I bought these for my 64.

When I bought these they had just came out and the price was $180.00 a pair. I've never had a problem with them and they shine nicely.
I did have to upgrade the turn signal flasher.

I personally like the ones HIO and gangstakr posted in the links. I'm not much of a fan of the halo angel eye outer rings. Everytime I see them I think of those import cars that have LED and neon lights everywhere on there cars. To modern for a bumpside truck. But in the end it's your truck and your money. I'd like to see what others are doing for headlights. This is a topic I been thinking about myself as I'll be needing some bright lights to see on the trails.

I used KC HiLiTES in mine, They are just headlight nothing else added to them, they are good and bright. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is on some of the cheaper lights the adjustment between bright and dim isn't all that good.

I put these in my truck. Much better than the old sealed beams. They come with decent bulbs but you can upgrade to anything you like. Standard 9003/H4 bulb.
