Well guys I got it off the rack front ends done except for a few small details need to brace the trac bar mount a little more and bleed the brakes one more time and do the rearend and it's done drove it drives good no death wobble or anything so so far were good just do the rear were done
well the rearend is in and everythings pretty much done except bleeding the brakes one more time and front drive shaft but on the test drive i aquired a bad fuel leak i half to get fixed now ill get pictures up soon
All you guys doing the '05 axle swaps have me thinking. I really don't want to swap my axle, because I already have a Dana 80 dually axle from an '01 E450. I has the same 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern as the OBS trucks, and disc brakes. So, what you and Andrew have me thinking is, coil spring and three link my D60, and do the D80 rear, that way I don't have to worry about wheels.
I like the sounds of that, 3 link vs 4 double triangulated 4 link? Or 4 link with panhard? If you were closer I'd come over and lend a hand... Still thinking this is the way I'm going to go with coilovers on the CC
Well I didn't do anything about the rear proportioning valve but I plan on going hydroboost before long hopefully and I've put a few miles on it front does stick out a tuch wider but that's the axle its self
Well see the previous owner took the factory 2in block out and put like a half inch block to level the truck out and I put the 2in block in plus the fact that the rearend brackets are taller on the 10.5
