I posted this in "buying advice" but it seems not many folks make it down that far. I've been looking for a 2011-2012 6.2 F250.

I found one that has been fleet maintained with all the records I could ask for, oil change at the most 5k intervals. The truck is stock and all original, nothing has gone out or been replaced. Its a 4x4 SD supercab. I can buy it for 13k.

ASSUMING excellent maintenance, highway miles, etc., is there any concerns about the mileage being 163k? I guess I'm asking how long are these trucks going for these days.

check the dash hours meter... read the owners manual to get to the hours...

total hours and idle hours.
I purchased a 2012 in July of this year. ... Fleet/Lease F 250....
136,000 miles and 4,100 hours.. its like average of 33 miles per hour.. a freeway truck
600 idle hours...

look on e-bay .. 11 & 12 .. 6.2L 200k and 300k miles.

last week, took truck/motorcycle in bed and travel trailer on an 800 mile trip.. that's 17,000 pounds total rolling...

I obtained the oasis report as well. It runs and shifts great so I'll take a look at the hours and do that same calculation and hopefully I'll have a new truck this weekend

I bought my 2011 F250 6.2 in Jan. of this year with 106K miles on it. (all hywy-one-owner-always serviced at a Ford dealer.

Very pleased with the truck, especially the 17 mpg hywy.
