Load of flathead engines

Helped my friend load up some more engines from the building he sold. He has already hauled out about a dozen engines that are already rebuilt and about a dozen cores. Plus my last trip out there we grabbed a few along with some other misc parts.
This haul was 17 engines if i counted right. I didnt count them until after the tarp was on so i counted from the pictures.
One was a yblock and one early cadillac v8 with trans.

Im afraid loading them was the easy part...

Oh plus one trans from an f7 or f8 truck.

I think there are about 70 more engines left to move. Mostly flatheads. A couple olds v8's and few other vintage engines. Model a etc.
I must be a really good friend....

Oh, and i bought another trailer. This one is a little bit smaller than the red triple axle but if i cant keep it busy ill flip it since i bought it right.

You mean so you didn't have to move them, or is he closing up? Do I hear a Christmas sale coming?

Correction. First load was 19 engines.
And just made a second trip. Had 21 engines this time. Some olds rockets with transmissions a cadillac with trans. A couple flathead bare blocks, half dozen misc trans and the rest flat v8's
I figure he is about half way done with moving engines. Then a lot of pallets of misc parts etc.

2nd load

Destination. Will need long extensions on forklift if he needs one in the back of the pile....

So a couple weeks ago we made another load, however we must have been tired or lazy with hooking them, we had two early engines fall and broke the bellhousing, I should have been fired but no such luck.

I also found an 8ba and two merc cranks from out in the desert. one merc crank was being used as a counterweight on the rear blade of an 8N tractor. I didn't have much hope for them but I can't ever say NO! so
the first crank has been sandblasted, tanked, magged and ground I think .01 mains .02 rods iirc? (still at the shop) I'm still laughing about that, guess you just never know.
