Minimal requirements to run 4.6 DOHC

I am installing a 4.6L DOHC from a '98 Mark VIII and I should have all needed wiring/modules. My next step is reducing my harness to only what I need to run the motor, cruise, and the instrument cluster. What are the minimal requirements to run the motor and trans? I tried the swap portion of this forum to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated.

I installed an engine from a 96 Mark VIII. I bought a wiring kit from Ron Francis. The instructions are on line. The point I'm getting at is if you check out some of the kits on line you can look through the instructions and see the sensors they are using or not using. Just a thought!
Of course when you eliminate certain systems you will need to re-tune the ECU. You can probably find a Mustang or ford shop near you that can do it for you.
