2008 Conversion on a 99 E350 7.3T PSD

im wanting to do a 2008 Conversion on my 1999 E350 7.3T Power Stroke Diesel Cargo van. i love my 7.3 turbo diesel but looks dated with its busted grill, Headlight Mounting/GRILLE REINFORCEMENT PANEL, headlight buckets, stone selector valance panel below grill above bumper, passenger fender, front bumper, and turn signals. so i was thinking i may do a 2008 nose job on my van to give it a newer look. but is it even possible to install 2008 composite lines since my van has sealed beam lights?

the only 2 good parts on the front my van are drivers fender and hood. so why not do this? only problem is i don't know what parts i need. has anyone made a guide on the site to show how to do the conversion? other upgrades I'm doing is cab lights and
2003+ manual towing mirrors 2003+ manual towing mirrors
i will have to drill my door to install.

Thanks in Advance, Alice

The biggest reason why not is the '08 front ends are different enough from the previous years to make this a bit more difficult than simply slappy a few sheet metal parts on.

Because the radiator support is configured differently to accommodate the newer sheet metal that has to be addressed, typically the inner structures normally supporting the fenders and radiator support would need considerable modification.

Headlight types can be toggled from the composite "aero" type to sealed beams without too much effort and parts because the header panel will accept both types. Electrical connectors will be different between the two lamps so that's another consideration albeit small all things considered.

If you'd like to see what's involved with this sort of swap read through this thread beginning middle of page 2: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ld-thread.html

OMG! lot of work for the look and has no increase of value at all. i thought it be just a few parts to bolt on. i tip my bonnet to those that have done this conversion. ill still do the 2003+ manual towing mirrors as well as a halogen headlight upgrade for the added safety.

ty for the link.
