1977 Ford F106 Carburetor Question

I have a 1977 Ford F106 (going by the Vin Plate) it's a 1-ton Dually. I'm trying to find what type of carb I should get to replace the original.

Picture of the carb and vin plate are attached. thanks for any info.

I think someone in the past has replaced the driver's door and didn't keep the original warranty plate. According to that plate you have a shortbed 117" wheelbase and a GVW of 5250 lbs. Definitely not an F350 dually.
The carb you have has been rebuilt so the original ID tag will be gone, what engine do you have?
Right now you have a regular Motorcraft 2100/2150 2bbl carb. Thats a very good carb for a stock engine, simple and pretty much bullet proof.

Check the frame on the passenger side next to or just behind the alternator. The VIN is stamped there and under the cab on the right frame rail. By the way, the official VIN number is the one on the frame. If your title has what's on the door, you're going to have problems if your state DMV catches it. The door tag is a warranty plate, not a VIN plate.

Is there a reason you want a new carb? So long as the throttle bushings aren't worn (vacuum leaks) that carb just needs cleaning and adjustment, a rebuild kit is maybe $20.

I'd stick with the 2150 and clean/rebuild it. They're pretty easy and reliable. Search for a site called Mike's Carburetors and give him a call after you've got the old carb out. He's pretty helpful helping you figure out which carburetor you have specifically because there are numerous of the 2100/2150 family and therefore about 5 rebuild kits. Don't want to order the wrong one.

Also it looks like you're missing your choke. I like the manual conversion and they are sold for like $15 at any auto parts store.
