Cant figure this out!!

Okay main problem is starting i cant figure it out.

background on the vehicle, Last week installed Swamps 200cc/30% injectors with a 38r. Had swamps reburn my chip for the new upgrades.

But heres the problem i noticed starting the truck was a little harder ( longer cranking ) till it would start never thought of anything since i read air gets in and can cause it but then yesterday and today its taken 30 minutes to start the truck since i have to do a trial and error.

the truck just seems like the batteries are being drained or something along those lines. i also noticed my gauges keep resetting back to blue( default color)

To day i plugged a battery charger up all good voltage i charged them so both read 14v and still no start.

So a couple of attempts at starting with chip in and ICP on nothing

I unhook the chip and ICP get a half *** start then eventually it starts.

after then i can hook it all back up and it starts good for the rest of the day but for what ever reason after it sits all night it dosnt want to start up right away.

any ideas? id like to figure it out today since id rather not wake up at 4am and attempt to do this all before work each day.

thanks

TJ

There is oil in the HPOP, I unhooked my ECU and re bolted it just to make sure it was in there good, Since doing that my gauges now stay the color i set them. Im going to go to get my batteries tested just to rule them out.

Good idea to get them tested, but I'd think since you had it on a charger it should have fired. Check your grounds real good too.

You'd probably have to check the hpop in the morning if you don't get it fixed today.

Best way to check that is with a dip stick of sorts. Check to make sure all your grounds are good.

Re reading your original post I would recommend pulling both valve covers and look for oil leaking from around the injectors while running or cranking. You could have messed up an oring or two or three. It's really easy to do.

Also when you installed the injectors did you give them a good smack with your hand or a mallet to make sure there seated all the way down to the bottom?

I didnt hit them with a hammer but they were pushed and tightened to the proper torque specs so i cant imagine they could go down anymore let alone why would it take a week to start causing this issue?

But i did just go out and start the truck up no issues I do have it plugged in currently to see if it was maybe glow plug issues but i doubt it is they were all replaced with injectors since i did have a code for poor fuel pressure and glow plugs. Tech determined it was injectors and he was correct since my o rings were pretty torn up on a few injectors.

By pushed do you mean smacked or just pushed? I also didn't mean a hammer. I meant a rubber mallet.
