Yeah i did the injectors glow plugs and turbo after that headache and fight i think anything else is pretty do able im learning diesels as i go with this little change from Volkswagen lol

 

Might be worth checking it out before you pay somebody to do it. Good luck either way though. Hope it fixes your problem

 

You should have 2 relays by your passenger Side head. The first is a tall one, it's for the aih and the second is shorter for the glow plugs.

 

Well it started up right away no smoke no nothing other then a strong start left it plugged in all night so I'm going to call the dealer see if they have the module in stock 👍

 

Well put the new control module in and she started right up morning without being plugged in thanks for the help guys

Sounds like one bad Excursion! Glad you got it fixed. You may not have needed injectors, but I'm sure you'll enjoy them anyway, lol!

 

Well I had poor fuel pressure and found out I had three or four with bad o rings so I said screw it and went bigger injectors I love it just need to upgrade the trans doesn't know what to do some times

 

The 4R100 is stronger than our stock E4OD transmissions, but I bet it still wishes for death when you get on it, lol. Does that chip/injector/turbo combo smoke really bad or does it clear up pretty good?

 

Yeah I hear this trans is strong. But it all depends on the setting if I run the highest setting on my chip I can't see anything behind me for probably 80-100 feet it dumps fuel but it also all depends your speed of go from 20-60+ it dumps fuel but highway speeds 65-100 isn't bad. And yes I've done 100 in this thing. Scary but I have
