Can anyone tell me if all fuel/gas tanks/shields from 00 / 05 excursions are the same apart from Fuel/Gas pick-ups. Will all years bolt up to each other? I’m looking at a 00/01 tank and shield for my 03 7.3 Excursion.

 

Ford list all 2001 engine options as 44 gallons.

That is as difinitive as an answer as I have.

 

Not sure where you are, but there is a yard near me that has these parts (Gold Mine). On one of the Excursions they have, the tank has been removed and the shield is laying next to the truck. It was a V10, and it looks exactly like mine (I have had mine out/off the truck before). So I am going to say they are the same.
