2008 F250 6.4l no crank no start after water in fuel
The details: 2008 F250 got bad fuel. Limped it home. Changed both fuel filters. Truck would crank but not start and the wrench light came on. Bled air from system, added fresh fuel, reset fuel shut off switch, checked all fuses/relays. Wrench light is now off but throwing codes P1000, P242D, P2033 & P0578, no crank, no start. Turn key to start and all lights in dash go out, get 3 chimes and and that's it. This is a work truck and I've been down over a week now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

you used motorcraft filters and did the turn key cycle with out trying to start it 6 times?
in motorcraft filters, the primary filter has a vent hole that has to be installed with the hole at the 12:00 position...which is needed to bleed air.
was there any petroluem jelly looking gel in your secondary filter area?
and you drained the fuel using the drain valve under the drivers side of the internal chasis?
P1000 OBD SYSTEMS READINESS TEST NOT COMPLETE
P242D EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH BANK 1 SENSOR 3
If the #3 sensor has failed....engine will not start
P2033 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH BANK 1 SENSOR 2
P0578 CRUISE CONTROL MULTI-FUNCTION INPUT "A" CIRCUIT STUCK

The egt sensor would put it into limp mode and once you shut her off its done and over until you change the thing out. You can let it sit for 90 min or reset the pcm by pulling the battery cables for a few min. But once you fire her up and shut down you will be stuck again.
I would start watching for fuel pressure codes if you drove it after the wif came on... Generally once you let enough water build up for that light to come on you have already screwed up. You may get lucky though...
