I just bought a 99 F350 with 240k miles on it and got it for a deal because it needed injectors. Ive done the same job to my 97 OBS powerstroke. The injectors were already pulled so I had them sent for rebuild, the problem is I cant tell which injector goes where. is there a trick to figuring out where each injector goes when I put it back together? Thanks

 

If they're all the same code, AB or AD, it doesn't matter where they go. If one is an AE code (might be marked with an "LL" on the solenoid), it would go in cylinder 8.

Who did you choose for the rebuild if you don't mind?

 

perfect, I thought I read something like that, cylinder 8 injector may also have a different color connector right?
