I like big, green trucks.
(I don't have the Jeep Liberty any longer. I traded it for an Explorer)

From Jolly Roger Rocketry... hence my user name.

My Level 3 Certification Flight with Tripoli Rocketry Association. I built the rocket from scratch. 9 feet long, 35 pounds. Flew to 10,500 feet.

This was 275 pounds, 21.5 feet long... Also built from scratch in my garage...

And my bike...

A lot of very cool toys on this thread, but Joe may be the winner for most unique. And I am very pleased to hear there is a certification process. Does it deploy a chute? I can't imagine it's one time use?

I have one with a camera, but I've yet to fly it. The big one flew on a P motor. You can't buy a P motor commercially, so we had to make it. We had a contact at USC in their rocket lab who was mainly responsible for the propellant formula. The motor was 54" long, 6" in diameter and weighed 90 pounds. We name all our rockets. This was was called "It Burns When I P".

Yes, you can't buy a motor larger than L size without a Level 3 Certification. Level 1 is up to I motors and Level 2 is up to L motors. Level 3 allows you to fly anything you can build, which is why I wanted that cert.

Most of the higher flying rocket will deploy 2 stages of chutes: a drogue at apogee to slow the decent slightly, and the main around 1,500 feet to make for a gentle landing. They're designed to fly repeatedly. If you popped a main at 10,000 feet, the wind might carry it into the next county...

Jolly Roger.... That is unbelievably awesome. Is there a certification class to build one big enough to ride in? That's what I would do. How hard could it be, not like its rocket science or anything... well....err....wait....I guess it is.

So cool.

I figured I'd ad a few more.

This was a huge part of my life that I finally quit a couple years ago.
I raced MX for somewhere around 20 years. Finally realized with age comes a cage

Here's my wifes FJ cruiser we did up for her

I work in the aviation field so I used to do a lot of flying but it got too expensive. Eventually i'd like to build my own

Had horses but quickly realized i had too many hobbies

and i wanted to throw this pic in just for fun.
Thats my little 20 pound dog chasing away a small black bear.
