Found a perfect shift / e-brake boot...
I made a note of this in my restoration thread but thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone needed one:
Floor shift and e-brake boot for F100, F250, F350, F500, F600 etc
Here is the Amazon page for the boot. It's a Crown Automotive 5752141: http://smile.amazon.com/Crown-Automo...motive+5752141

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery...I am sure that Jeep saw these boots on early Ford trucks and adopted the fine design for their vehicles. We have now come full circle....

Do you know if it will fit earlier models? I don't know what the measurements are between the shifter and brake lever for my F4, but I'd like to see if they're the same as yours.
According to the Amazon page, they must be made for Jeeps?

They are made for Jeeps. But it was the only boot I could find that would fit and I spent hours searching!
Unsure of the fitment. Others may chime in. But I can go out and measure the distance and offset of my shifter and ebrake for you. You can compare that to your own ride. I'll head out in a few minutes.

Okay here we go. This was taken sitting in the seat looking down. So to clarify the shifter is on the left. The ebrake on the right. Measurements are from center to center of each handle.
The shifter is in neutral and as centered as I could get it. The ebrake is forward, also as far up as it would go. The boot has perhaps an inch of play in either direction due to the flexibility.
Shifter / ebrake dimensions and offset.

Folks here (well most of you any way... ) have been MORE than fair to me. So many of you have gone above and beyond to help me with my project. I'm not one to tell someone to "go Google it" if I have the info handy. Sharing is the least I can do to pay back the community.

Calvin, I saw that on your other thread. It does look like it was made for your truck.
I had a similar problem with my 70 F350 flatbed dump. Who ever put the PTO powered hoist in really butchered the floor to put the two levers in. The holes were much bigger than they needed to be. The PO had a towel wrapped around the levers to block out cold air. I had to scrounge around a junk yard looking for boots that were the right size.
Your solution looks a lot cleaner than mine.
