Use the rubber lines.

Mine were described as reinforced emissions lines and could be used as fuel or gas line... I would second what Carloespo said. The rubber lines I pulled off were still 90% good after almost 40 years, any plastic parts I have I treat very gingerly - after so many years of engine compartment heat, I just assume any plastic part has turned brittle.

Brittle doesn't quite explain how mine were. I think there was a small breeze while I had the hood open and I lost a few. Either way, Thanks for the input.
