I've got an 05 F350 4x4 lariat crew w/6.0. Just bought it and the previous owner said the horn started blowing one night and wouldn't shut off. So they pulled the fuse and left it. I was following alldata steps to diagnose it. When I got to pinpoint test B5 I quit because I don't have the computer to send signal. I put everything back together. Now I don't have any cluster or dome lights. Keyless pad on door doesn't light up. No gauge function at all, no power locks and much more. I digress. I have to get a new gauge cluster because the original shorted out when I was reinstalling my dome light after a headliner replacement. So I ordered a cluster and they sent me a bad one. The delay relay was bad. At least I had cluster lights and gauge function. Just no radio map lights or power windows. So I'm set up to get a new oem picked up and programmed. Figured while I'm waiting for that to come in I would get the horn fixed. So I put in a 10amp fuse and the tapped the horn. It barely made a sound and blew the fuse. So I put in another one and started following alldata steps. Now here I am.

Got some diagrams so that you can use a multi meter
to test the wires and I also included the connector faces
with there wires and colors.

I actually talked to somebody there when all this started and I was told that a used rebuilt cluster was $300 something. By the time shipping was added it was just under 400. I was also told there was a core charge, mine was useless because the board got fried. The gauges are the least of my concern at this point. I'm not even getting power to them. Something very serious is going on. What gets me is the test I was doing for the horn was just unplugging and plugging the vsm connectors on the horn circuit. That's when I lost power to everything. Ford is even stumped on this one.

I had my horn stick at one point for like 10 mons one day then the truck went back to normal. I staryed research and one solution was a bad clock spring causing it. Never have me trouble after that. Had a reck 3yrs ago and they replaced the clock sprimg after i had the steering box broken and replaced
