Been here for a bit now and all finished with the questions and am soaked from the rain. Won't tell us anything except that we can't go in for a few days and that everything upstairs is destroyed. They rescued our 3 little girls from the bathroom in the basement and they were fine since none of the smoke made it to the basement. A friend of ours who is training in the K-9 unit came and picked them up and can take care of them since we can't take them to the hotel with us. I'll post more as I can.

 

At least the family is OK. Insurance can fix everything else.

 

Keep us in the loop Apoc, glad that Wendy, you and the pups are all OK.

Only Apoc would race home to a reported house fire and upon getting there take a picture of a Fire Department EX to share with us!

 

I gotta say, Apoc, you're a true Ex fan! Even when you have way more important things to deal with you still make time to take a pic of the fire chief's Ex!

Glad to hear everyone is ok. The house can be repaired. And now you get a free makeover at the expense of your insurance company!

I will repeat what others have said, if you need anything post it up and I bet we make it happen. I have a ton of kids. If you need clothes for those girls just hollar. I have four girls and lots of clothes they have grown out of. Insurance should come through, but if they don't we are here.

 

Jesus, I'm glad nobody is hurt. Terrible time of the year for this to happen (not that there is ever a "good" time)
