I have a Ford explorer sport 4 wheel drive 4.0 sohc.
and it as lost a lot of power I have tried new maf sensor plugs wires and ect. It did have a plugged cat on it so I ran straight pipe to itfor now until I have the extra cash any ideas on what would be causing this it idles rough and nine times out of ten it dies. If you are able to get it going it spits and sputters really bad. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

Those engines have a history of intake leaks. O-rings fail.

This should be OBD II. Have you had codes pulled?
