Hello,
Are the cursive Bronco emblems on the 66-77 just chromed over plastic? I just bought a pair on ebay (for my 96 ), and one is perfect. The other is slighty bent. It looks like it might have been installed, and slightly warped. If it is plastic, any of you guys ever straighten one out and have any advice? Thanks

Thats what I thought. I am not used to accessories being high quality. Thanks for the heads up.

Probably a chromed pot metal. I think the stuff will chip off if you bend it too much.

I plan on drilling five holes in a 2x4 that mate up with the five mounting pins. Then I am going to put the crooked emblem in between two 2x4s, and leave them in a vise for a day. That should allow the pins to stay where they should be, and flatten out the lettering....or so I am hoping.
