Leaking shifter

I am hoping that someone on here will be able to help me on this problem.
About two years ago I had a new engine installed in my truck along with a Tremec TCET-5008 five speed transmission and the Tremec TKO 500/600 shifter.
My problem is that the shifter has always leaked at the top where the shift lever connects.....does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thank you for any help.
Mike

Mike, I did a search and found a couple things, links below. Some of the Mid shifters had a problem leaking and there is a seal for it. Earlier transmissions had a vent buit into the shifter seal so overfilling could cause a leak.
