57 f700 project

I just picked up a 57 f700 it was a Marmon Herrington unfortunately the owner before me sold the rolling chassis to a guy who plans to put a Dodge cab on it and a cummins motor between the frame rails. But enough about what I didn't get what I did get was a 57 cab and front clip. The cab needs all new floors but has a mint windshield and door glass. I am on the look out for better fenders and a hood. The fenders were literally bent over due to the way they removed the cab from the frame. The hood was removed before the rest of the sheet metal so it wasn't bent but ts in pretty rough shape but it's what I have and what I'll work with till I find better. I'll try to get some pics later today. I'm thinking of putting some period correct 4x4 axles under it and using a straight frame that I have, my choice for power plant is still up in the air my choice will certainly be Ford powered.

I have a bunch of left overs from my build that you may want. Vander Haags truck parts is a good source to buy big ford stuff from. They had a 59 f800 4x4 recently.

I am definitely looking for pieces let me know what you have for leftovers I'm most interested in fenders, a decent hood, solid doors and floor pieces so yeah like a lot of stuff.

Better pictures to come. I haven't been able to make it up to my garage and wanted to share the one photo I have of my 57.

Did you get my pm?

I made a list.
That hood doesn't look too bad from the photo-oh I see rust holes.
Those mirrors aren't the right ones. Looks like it used to have the single bracket mirrors. Is that an original gas tank block off?

I thought I'd share pics of these Dana 70 rears I picked up from a good friend. They have 4.88 gears from the factory and yes the front is a passenger side drop. I have a divorced Rockwell transfer case with passenger side drop to send power to those rears, the tires are a set of 44s I had from another truck of mine that now has bigger tires.

I had time today to take these pictures of the front end that I have that came with the f700. Needless to say I need front end body pieces. The good and at the same time the bad thing is my truck has the small fenders like all the pickups and the f500 and f600s.

2many56s that's a pretty nice chunk of 57 F700 unfortunately the price has that 2 in the front of the 500 on top of it all its 800 some odd miles away and my dump truck likes to run around 45-50mph. Thanks for the heads up.

Before pulling out by hand

After pulling the fender out by hand. The vertical white line on the fender represents how far forward the aftermarket available fender repair panel would go and the horizontal line on the cab corner represents how far up replacement cab corners go.

bigwin56f100 my truck has small fenders like f100-600s did f100s specifically have different fenders from all the other trucks? I knew the big jobs have their own fenders and hoods.

your opening is larger for the bigger tires. F100 and F250 had a smaller opening
