225 and 215 exhaust manifold

225 and 215 exhaust manifold

Hey I have been searching for a non cracked 223 exhaust manifold for a little while now. I have been able to find one that seems to be in decent shape but upon pulling from the engine the guy found out it was really a 215 engine. I have been looking around to see if the intake/exhaust manifolds are interchangeable and here is what numberdummy had to say

Even if it would fit, lotsa luck finding a decent 223 exhaust manifold. Even though used from 1954/64 on trucks and Passenger Cars, it's harder to find than Jimmy Hoffa!

And...no Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

To me that says that it may fit(?) Just trying to get a somewhat definite answer. I thought about scanning him a 223 exhaust manifold gasket I have so that he could print it out and see if it lines up. Not to sure what else to do

Edit: My engine is a 1955 223 and his is supposedly a 215 from a 56. The exhaust manifolds both have the same angled outflow
